- Burn your candle for at least 2 hours on the first use and allow wax to melt to the edge of the jar

- Burn within sight on a flat and heat resistant surface

- Trim the candle wick before each use 1/4" (5mm) and remove loose pieces to help prevent sooting

- Always keep the candle away from kids and pets

- Only burn candles for three to four hours at a time

- If you experience sooting after your burn, simply use a dampen cloth to wipe the surface clean
